Learn, Love and Launch
This is a really nice concept, which states that every year you should pick something that you love, one that you want to learn, and one that you will launch.
Looking back on 2020, I picked up a few things:
Learn: Coding
I remember how scared I’d get when people brought up C/ C++/ Java. Until a few years ago, I was among the group of people, who tried to stay away from programming. Then I was introduced to the beautiful language of Python and I have been learning pandas, seaborn and matplotlib gradually over the last year.
Love: Reading
I aim to read 1 book a month. I take my time to go through that book and write about things that impress me, make me curious and change my perspective. I try to balance it out by alternating between fiction and non-fiction — a new reading habit that I started this year.
Launch: Writing
I have always liked to write. I tried different forms of writing, ranging from travel journals, poems, songs, and business articles; some I got bored with and some stayed with me. I explored different formats such as Medium, Blogger, and Quora but, as you might have noticed, I have started with Linkedin and it’s growing on me.
Cheers to the longest year in the history of time and to learning, loving and launching!
